Things that made me smile in 2007
Mary - Looks like we’ve made it this far.
Nursing school - finally done - yeah!!
Family - I talked to my family a lot over the phone.
Good friends - I made a number of good friends this year, both in and out of school.
Wii - we bought a Wii, my first ever video gaming system.
I rode a roller coaster for the first time ever, and loved it!
I started learning how to ride a bike.
Trips to Johnstown with friends.
Gardening and eating food we grew.
The Critical Care and ER clinical rotations.
Getting a job in the ER.
Graduation - especially getting the medical nursing award.
Ralphie.
Playing Wii with Mike Hollander.
Things I won’t miss about 2007
The murders in Philadelphia
Tragedies around the country and the world.
I got older.
Being torn between ER and Critical Care.
Fighting with the people I love.
Falling off my bike and hurting my back.
Things I learned in 2007
A lot of exciting medical stuff.
That I am a muffin (hint… that’s an inside joke, if you don’t get it, you’re not meant to).
That the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree (another inside joke).
That I am more easygoing than I should be (maybe).
That I can be an adrenaline junkie under the right circumstances.
That I love Nickelback (thanks Kaki for my new addiction).
That I am going to enjoy being a nurse.
Things I am looking forward to in 2008
Spending more time with Mary.
Starting my new job in the ER in February!
Having a consistent regular income.
Being able to come home and relax and not have to worry about clinical paperwork, homework, exams, etc.
Reading books for the pure pleasure of it!
Picking up my hobbies again now that I’ll have the time.
Planning our future and our tomorrows with my love.
Working on my electronics projects, websites, and all those other ideas in my little book.
Things I am hoping for in 2008
A green card.
A trip home.
To see my mom and my family.
To be with Mary.
To be happy.
To pay all my current debts.
To make a positive difference in someone’s life.
A PS3 (or XBox 360) haven’t decided yet.
A computer/electronics lab setup in one corner of the house, where I can geek out without being annoying.
More good friends.
PS: Greetings from Mary, two Weinmeraners, a Black lab, three cats, and lots of deer from Landenberg PA.

HEY! I got a mention! I certainly loved playing wii with ralphy is 2007 as well - and here’s to more of it in 2008 when I come back to philly.
