Yes he is, he told me so this morning. I have absolutely bored him into his shell, and I am slowly boring myself into mine. I’ve started wandering downstairs to talk to the turtle just for something to do — that can’t be good. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I have nothing to do, it’s just that my life is in suspense right now, kind of in no man’s land, and it’s driving me to distraction. As Mary said to me, you can be busy but still be bored. That there be Libby wisdom!

I’m bored, and I so wish I was making some money right now dressing some wounds, pushing some meds, looking down some kid’s throat to swab for strep, or even changing sheets on the ER stretchers, but here I am, totally bored.
