CASUAL CONVERSATION IN OUR LIVING ROOM
me: …even if the things I like to do are so nerdy, having textbooks open infront of the computer…
Mary: What??? (looks shocked!)
me: what? It’s what I like to do, you know that
Mary: On the sofa?
me: Huh?
Mary: you do that on the sofa?
me: Do what?
Mary: You just said “…even if the things I like to do are so naughty, having sex on the sofa in front of the computer…”
me: WHAT?
Seriously?
….
And in other news, this was not a good weekend.
Everything has changed, and yet nothing has changed. What an absolute mind f%ck!

I didn’t see any Q-tips when I was rifling through your medicine cabinet. Maybe making her clean her dirty, dirty ears would be a start?

Sorry–Not, Not Oprah, but, Just Donna!! Welcome to my world of Communicating with Mary. What you may not realize is that she was most probably responding to what you said in the conversation that you were having with her last month. I believe this is known as a The Libby Phenomena of Communication.

I know exactly what you mean, but in this case I’m pretty sure I did NOT have that conversation with her last month or any month since I have never confessed to doing THAT on the sofa!
I’m leaning towards the explanation by not Dr.Phil!

I say, its one thing that you did it with Dr Phil on the sofa but a completly other that you did it with my mother a few months early:O
