That’s how old this blog is! I started Marys Pad a year ago on my birthday as a gift to myself, a way to chronicle and reflect on life and my journey through it. It’s amazing that a year has passed since. I have to say it’s been a fun process, blogging about anything and everything.
Thanks to everyone who’s kept up with my random musings and anecdotes, and thanks to everyone who made this birthday the special day that it was.
Mary, thanks for being you, and for being there, for the last three years, and for the many more to come. Thanks for my birthday treats (my workmates thank you too 
), and for every day. Thanks Donna for the wonderful gifts and for being so supportive of my nursing career. Thanks to all my friends and family. You all rock!!

Wow! I haven’t visited the site in a while, probably because I was busy with school. it is really awesome to read, even if done late. LOVE IT!! You awesome nurse!!
