Well, I shouldn’t really say I learned, because I was too agog to really take in any info. Kathryn has guns! Real live ones! Not toys! The real deal. We got to see them, touch them, and learn what they do, but as I said, I was too agog to retain any info.
All kinds of guns
Kathryn showing us the height of the shotgun with a bayonet attached

Don’t be fooled by the smile, I was nervous as hell holding that thing!

Kathryn showing us how it’s done

I don’t know that I’ll ever handle these again, but I definitely never thought I’d be this close to real guns. Thanks Kathryn!

Next time you come, we will make a point to go to the range. Just don’t be here on a Tuesday, as we all know now, nothing in Kentucky is open on Tuesday.
The looks on your faces are priceless.

Absolutely! We definitely enjoyed it. It helped that they weren’t loaded :). Hope Kentucky has cooled down a little. It’s been in the 60’s in Philly for a few days now, and raining almost every day!

Still in the upper 90s here. It rained one day but back to the muggy heat. See… I told you I read this.
