Mary's Pad

… and like all exams, it does actually come and go. Well, it’s done! I went in at 7:45 this morning, sat down and took my NCLEX exam, and was out of there in 45 minutes. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing, but I’ve always been a fast test-taker, plus this is computerized and adaptive, so you can’t go back and look at the questions or change anything. The first question everyone has asked me so far is “How do you think you did?” I have chosen to reserve my answer to that question. Only Mary knows how I feel I did because she was there as soon as I walked out; and besides, she’s the only one I would trust to tell how I feel right now.

I do know that I’m relieved to be done with it, for now. Assuming I pass, I will be done with it for good. For now, it’s off to a day of doing absolutely nothing academic or cerebral.
